Eating At Wimpy’s Diner On Hurontario & Bovaird

Today we went to check out Wimpy’s Diner on Hurontario and Bovaird in Brampton and try out their food.

The distinct 50’s and 60’s atmosphere transports you back in time to the John F. Kennedy and Rock-And-Roll era. Complete with displays of coin-operated jukeboxes, decorated memorabilia and retro booths this restaurant does a great job at taking care of details.

Wimpy’s Diner is known for its hamburgers, morning and all day breakfast, specialty lunch and homestyle dinners.

We ordered the Tex Mex 6oz burger with turkey bacon, a spinach and feta cheese omelette, a side of poutine and another side of fries. I loved the food, with the big portions you walk away full. Here are some images of the food…

So this 6oz Tex Mex burger comes with regular bacon but I opted for Turkey bacon instead. It’s topped with cheddar cheese, grilled onions, banana peppers, lettuce, tomato and chipotle sauce.

Overall the meal was great.

And of course, dinner is not complete without a tasty dessert. The owner of the restaurant, Raj, decided to make us Creme Brulee which was delicious. Thank you Raj!
