So, in celebration of the Philippine Independence Day, I went to check out one of the newest Filipino restaurants here in Toronto – Platito Filipino Soul Food.
After seeing a few photos posted by friends on facebook I got the craving for their delicious chicken and waffles.
The restaurant opened just yesterday with a very nice turn out, which is why today the restaurant extended an all day brunch.

The chicken and waffles (Bok Bok Chicken on the menu), comes with two large chicken pieces, yam waffles drizzled with syrup and maple syrup butter on the side – YUM.
